Hi Dennis,
No we haven't forgotten about entering a zip/postal code for an address lookup. Just adding that one feature will take months of development.

There are plans in the works to completely rewrite from scratch the entire address lookup module of Sendero GPS. When we do this not only should you be able to do zip code address lookups but also have alpha numeric addresses, and partial street name searches.

But as I said this will be a major change and take a major amount of time to complete and this is why it hasn't been done yet. There was strategic reasons why we decided to address the POI module which I won't get into here but I hope you all are now enjoying the power this new POI search functionality has to offer. I don't know when this will be addressed but you can be sure it is one if not the highest priority items to address in future versions.

Thank you
Charles.

Hi.
When comparing GPS with other accessible products, one thing is missing that is standard on most "sighted" navigation systems is the ability to put in a zip or post code to search when setting a destination etc. Any idea when this will be implement, and would be interested to know why it hasn't already, that is, what problems there are with the Sendero system that other systems have got round...
Thanks in advance.
Dennis from the UK.
