Donald,
There are two cables included with the Earthmate GPS receiver package.
A 12 inch cable, this cable attaches to the BrailleNote serial port and the
Earthmate power pack.
A 36 inch cable that attaches from the Earthmate power pack to the Earthmate
receiver.
The Earthmate power pack is designed to be located in the BrailleNote
accessory pouch and the receiver will be worn on the shoulder strap. There
is ample cable to mount on a automobile dashboard.
