Hi all,

Now that I have the Blue Logger going I thought I would share a note about the
care of its battery. Because we have the spare provided with the unit I am
sure it will be our wish to cary it with us as an extra. As a ham radio
operator here is a tip concerning how you might want to do this.

Be sure not to cary the extra battery uncovered. That is, don't let the
contacts be able to touch any other metal in your pocket or cbriefcase or
purse. A friend did this by accident with a battery in his car and the battery
discharged burning the seat and desgroying the battery. Be aware of this and
preserve your extra power supply and your skin or carying case.
