Cookl, i noticed that the holux didn't work for me well wen I had it in my pocket and I keep hearing of this strap that goes with the pk. My pk came with its standard strap, nowhere to hook in the receiver. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael May" <mikemay@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

The Holux is pretty sensitive and will pick up even inside a vinyl backpack.Be aware however that your body does act as a bit of a damper to radio signals. If you are really having a hard time acquiring, place the receiver away from you on the trunk of a car for example, preferably not one that is moving or likely to move.Placing the receiver on top of your shoulder with the face toward the sky is the most practical place hooked into a shoulder strap. It will work in a pocket or purse but your directionality may suffer a bit.Mike At 09:57 AM 3/13/2007, you wrote:HiThe type of clothing you where can make a big difference. I can easily get ten satellites withit in there. I have stuck my old earthmate in weird places just to get asignal. The Holux works great though. On my pk's strap, there's no way to clip the reciever since it tends to fall off. Thanks. Armando -- No virus found in this incoming message.
