Nothing like replying to your own message, but of course you can record a poi
from an address or latitude and longitude or make a destination a poi, but I
just wanted to get you started and to give you where to go to read about this.
Hope we are being helpful.

Ok Section 6.3.1 is where you go for help on this.
To record a POI, Press Read with R. Now you have to be in the gps program and
tracking for this to work. So, after pressing the read and r, you will be asked
for a name of poi. Write something which is meaning to you. Press enter
afterwards. You will be asked for some details. Here is where the address and
phone number goes.
So when you press read with P. you will see these details.
Now after you have written the address and phone number and pressed enter you
will be asked into what category this poi is to go.
You can use the first letter of the category or use the space bar to scroll
down the list of categories.
If you live say in a huge apartment complex for example, You may want to set
the rental office as a POI. What you would do is walk to the rental office, set
it as a poi with read with r, press enter, type the address and phone number
and the manager's name, then put this into say the user private poi.
Next time you walk past the rental office the gps will let you know that's
what you are passing.
Again in the user's guide it is section 6.3.1 and to get there just do your
find command.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Its just meant to get you going.
