The bus transit POIs are only available in selected cities. All GNIS,
Collective and Extra POIs go into the same folder where your maps/POIs are.
This will add extra POIs that users have made and other interesting and
important POIs, such as Talking ATMs.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] downloading POIs

Hi,

I checked on the Sendero website, and the latest revision of the POIs is
from November 2008. So I'm assuming the POIs on my version of GPS are the
latest ones. However, there are no bus stops noted, and that is one of the
features listed on the web site. Am I missing something? Are such things
only available in certain cities?

The user POIs are from May, 2009. So if I download them, does this mean
there will be extra POIs added to what is already in the folder? When I
download them and unzip them, where do I copy them on the card? Do I have to
make a new folder, or will they automatically be placed in the right place?
What should I select as the place to put these files?

I know the directions explain all this, but I want to be sure I
understand them correctly.

Thanks.

Alice
