The program is on the Flash disk of your PK. Thus, you can use your maps on your Micro Drive in any BN or VN running valid GPS software that will support your maps. For example, maps for GPS 3.5 wouldn't work on a unit running GPS 3.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Question on where programs go on pk

Hi!
I am wondering when you install the gps onto the pk does the
program go on
the keysoft drive or does it remain on your flash card?
I'm asking because I bought an 8 gb flash card on to which I want
to
eventually have all of the maps for the u. s.. I am wondering
if I can use
these maps in all 3 of my braille note products or do I have to
have 3 flash
cards for this because of the map data.
How exactly does this work?
If I can't do it this way, I will just use smaller cards for the
vn and
regular braille note.
