Right: I noticed this, but usually by the time I know I have made a mistake must go back and do it all again. Easy to get messed up just new exploration of a place. Karen

Karen,You can only undo one move. so if you move forward, turn to the
right,
then move forward again, your last virtual move will be undone,
and
that's all.
Hope this helps. On Wed, 15 Oct 2008 07:51:53 -0400, Karen Bailey <karenb74@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
This looks very interesting. I wonder what is going on when I'm in virtual mode and gps says: cannot explore backwards. Why is this? I often make a wrong turn when exploring, and wish I could redo it or explore back to the point where I made the error. Karen and Harpo

for today's feature I will be discussing the actions menus.
After you search for a POI and find it, in previous versions Youwouldneed to set it as your destination with SPACE with D or READ withD.Then press R then V or R then P to create a route to it. That functionality has remained, but we have added three menus we callthePOI Actions Menu, Address Actions menu and the Lat/Lon ActionsMenu.
You find your POI and press BACKSPACE with P or CONTROL with P.GPSannounces POI Actions menu, set or create: You have 6 choices. 1. Both Destination and virtual Position D This sets the POI asyourdestination and virtual position. 2. Destination only D: you can set the POI as a destination 3. Explore position only E: This will set your virtual explore position to the POI. 4. Pedestrian route P: This item will create a pedestrian routefromyour current position to the POI 5. Show details S: This item will show you the POI details, same asa SPACE with P or READ with P. 6. Vehicle route V: this item creates a vehicle route to fromyourcurrent position to the POI If you will notice each item has a hot key displayed, You canpressthat hot key in order to select the menu item. IE bring up thePOIActions Menu then press E to set as your explore position.
We also have the address actions menu. This menu comes up whenyou doan address lookup with space with S read with S. Fill out thesameinformation as before IE state, city, address number and streetnameinstead of define as" you will hear Address actions menu, set or create: You are presented with 6 items. 5 are identical to thePOIactions menu. Instead of Show details S you will find Createuser POIC.
When setting a lat/lon position you will see the address actionsmenu,it is called lat/lon actions menu in that case, but all items arethesame.
