Brandon,
We have certainly registered the request for onboard maps. This is a huge
structural change to the app and could not happen without significant
funding.
You can still follow a route when you lose contact with the server as long
as you don't go off-route with our existing system. Since we have local maps
on our other products, we certainly appreciate the value of this as well as
the weaknesses.
I don't realistically see this changing anytime soon. Sorry about that.
