Kelly,
Using two apps at once is a good solution, one for accessibility and the other
for routing.
Since the subject line is Hero Maps, I need to ask what they are.

I bought Nearby Explorer for the downloaded maps. All of the rest use online
maps. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps have drastically improved accessibility
in the past few years. I would still buy Blind Square because of the clockface
orientation, audio interface and additional guidance. Together, the package of
features makes it an extremely useful overlay to Apple or Google Maps.

Also do you think it’s still relevant and worth purchasing all of it

Is there a reason AHP has gone to good maps instead of hero maps?
I’m wondering what the pros and cons of that decision was.

Doug, good maps explorer does have a virtual feature. Once you
choose a point of interest or an address, you have the option to set
it as a destination or as a virtual position. Once you said it is a
virtual position then you can explore using lookaround or location
just as if you were there.
None of the iPhone apps have the capability to explore the way you
can on the PC with your arrow keys.
