Hi Mike,Having listened to the CSUN presentation on Seeing Eye GPS, I was pleasantly surprised to find the price to be lower than expected, so much so that I promptly bought the three-year subscription. . As others have said, it would have been nice to have a trial demo, but I knew that I was going to buy a subscription anyway, so for me the point was moot. Even with slow performance on my iPhone 4, I'm very favorably impressed with the app and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my students and friends who use iPhones. Kudos to you and all of the Sendero team once again for a job well done. As always, you guys rock!

I don't really want to be defensive about the pricing for the Seeing Eye app so I will leave it to others to debate this point. I know a few people thinkany price is too much in the iPhone high volume low price world. I believe most people can do the math and know what we are up against creating a specialized app for a small market. We would have preferred to have one lifetime license. Our map provider would not offer that as an option. We don't know why but we were stuck with this 1 and 3 year situation. It could be that they are shifting to this model awayfrom lifetime licenses so when others have to renew their contracts, they will face this as well. We saw the same thing with Wayfinder back in the day.
