Hi Listers,

Thanks for all your feedback and ideas in only the first day this app has
been out. A couple thoughts on several threads.

If you have a subscription or other issues specific to you, please email
iPhone@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx as opposed to posting to this worldwide list.

Please keep subject lines relevant to the topic.

In terms of a way to try out the app, the only viable option with Apple
would be a one month subscription. We will see how things go and give that
some thought. Note that Navigon for example does not offer the option. It
may be that once that after the Seeing Eye app is out for a while and there
is lots of public information about it, a demo will seem less important.

If you read our announcement, you know that we will shortly post a list of
top priorities for future versions and you will have the option to vote on
those options. Look for that soon.

In terms of background operation, it can be a blessing or a curse. We hope
to include the option but be careful what you ask for. I am a huge fan of
Blindsquare but I turn off the backgroun operation. It would be nice to have
background turns announced while in a car. Safe navigation as a pedestrian
may require one's full atttention to that task rather than listening to
music or being on the phone while also trying to pay attention to navigation
information. We will have this on the list of items to vote for.

Come see me if you are at the summer shows. I am at the Humanware booth
today and the Hims booth tomorrow in Orlando. I'll be around their booths
Sunday and Monday in Columbus.

Enjoy the Seeing Eye app, which I might mention is one thenth the cost of
some other accessible GPS systems. We hope people will use this in addition
to their notetaker or stand alone GPS. They all have their place.

Mike
