Keep in mind that you can sell the receiver but not the old software. Presumably, you upgraded from 2.0 to your current version. That old license nor maps are not legally transferable. The software is keyed to your BrailleNote and couldn't be used by another person in any event.

What do you do with outdated equipment?
For example, I have a Magellan receiver and Sendero GPS version 2.0 which I don't need any more.
I'd be happy to give it to someone. I hate to throw it away.
