Hello List,
From those who are fortunate enough to be using a PK, I would like to know
if you are able to activate a "hard" reset; that is with the 2 righthand
control buttons held down, together with dots 4-5-6. The manual makes it
clear that, after this reset, you will be asked to reset the time and date;
this, I have never been asked to do.
My gps, which at first worked so well, no longer does; it was probably
something I did, but I can't work out what. I decided to re-install the
gps program. Though this starts out well, I am soon told that:(
gpstalkobjs.pll this process cannot access this file as it is being used
by another process)
I am told that this file, (wherever it is) is obviously not being
closed-down as it should and that I need to execute a "hard" reset, and
then re-install the gps program; but this I cannot do. I have tried
running the battery right out, but even this has no effect. Is this a bug?
perhaps others might try this reset and let us know so that, if it is, it
can be put right.
