John,You can safely get a 2GB compact flash card, or any size compact flash card for that matter that's 2GB or more, to fit California.
I posted a link to a 16GB card on BlindBargains.com if that helps. J.J.----- Original Message ----- From: "John Gassman" <johngassman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi,Based upon what I am reading, is it accurate to say I need a 16 gig compact flash card since evidently only high density SD cards come in 16 gig size which the mPower won't use?John At 10:10 PM 10/20/2008, you wrote:John , With changes made the POI data and the increase of the total size of the USA from 7GB to 10GB, this means that it is no longer possible to fitCalifornia onto a 1GB card nor it is it possible to fit the entire USA ontoa 8GB card. This is the reason Sendero has began to offer 16GB cards as their default card size.
