The new app is not out yet. I have the beta version which I can show people
in person.
One weird problem appeared just before submitting to the Apple store. I am
glad Charles found it but it means we are further delayed getting to the
bottom of it.
I'll let you all know when we have submitted.

Yes. Find the POI you wish to make a destination. Select it and you will be
given the choice of creating a route to it with pedestrian or vehicle. If
you only want it as a destination without a route, choose the Getting Warmer
option. Those destinations will be in the history list so you can choose
them later if you wish. The new version about to be released increases that
list from 2 items to 25 items.
Should any of you be at the BVA convention in Louisville, come by table 208
and I can demonstrate the new User POI feature.
