As stated, it fixed itself of its own accord.
I doubt very much it was a connection issue on my end as I have extremely good Verizon coverage in my area.

Wow, I've never had an experience like that ad hae been using the app since it started in Beta. Sometimes, deleting an ap and redownloading it helps. I have no idea if that would help in this case but it has worked on other phone apps in the past.

Hello Kevin,

Wow! Your experience sounds very disappointing, to say the least.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I am glad you posted this in case
someone else experiences something similar.

In what state do you reside and who is your wireless provider?

Mark

Subject: [gps-talkusers] truly irritating incident that just occurred

I just returned from a car trip. Just after starting out I fired up Seeing
Eye GPS. Imagine my irritation to hear a message stating something to the
effect that some service was not available. Now, I was in a good coverage
area for cellular not to mention the many thousands of wifi hotspots put up
by my internet provider.
Anyway, next thing is I'm brought to the subscription sign in page as it
cannot verify my credentials. After entering that in again, with some
incidental s swearing, it tells me that I have entered an invalid user id or
password. I I cranked up the swearing considerably at that point.
I just returned home, no thanks to Seeing Eye GPS and now the sign in works
automatically as it should.
Is the problem that I can only use this at home?
I think that might diminish the utility of this application considerably.
This is the first time this has occurred. That is, if you don't count the
multiple attempts made on this trip as more than one.
So, what's up and how does this not happen again?
Bear in mind a few other apps I fired up worked just fine and most of them
use data and one used location info just fine.
