If you have a windows based computer SenderoMaps is free with 2012 and 2013 versions of the product and is recommended as everything is done for you automatically.

However, if you do not use SenderoMaps or are on a Mac without windows running, you must be familiar with downloading unzipping and basic file management.

In short, go to www.gosendero.com and login with the last 6 digits of your sn and password.
Download the program, download your maps, and take note of your license key.
Then unzip the maps in question to a folder of your choice on your sd card. Do not put more then 4 or 5 states in each folder as this is not recommended on the BrailleNote and Sense devices.

copy the apex installer to the sd card and reset after all maps are unzipped into their respective folders. Again, if you have a Windows based computer, use SenderoMaps I can't stress this enough as all downloading of maps, program and license keys are done for you and placed in the proper location on the SD card.

Hi,
I do not use Sendero maps. Is there a way to download the version to my
map Sd card and install it? I have an apex.

The best way to update is to use SenderoMaps on a Windows based pc.

Follow the instructions in the audio demonstration. Updating will not
remove any of your personal POIs.

Hi,
Chris, I found out that my password reminders were being sent to the San
Meteo County Office Of Education. How do I update from 2012 to 2013? I
do not know my license key but will ask SMC to forward it to me. I have
2012 maps and pois. When I update, will it erase my personal POIS?
