Make sure you are using the most up to date uninstall file for one thing. Also, check the size of the gps 5.0 file you got. If it's around 367 K, it's too small. It should be well over a 1 meg file size. I have to download it twice and use the current uninstall file first, before I got it to work. Jim

HI all,
When installing the 5.0 version after doing theSDF reset, I'm getting the DLL message that there is not enough storage space to complete the setup. I've downloaded the upgrade three times now, and deleted all memos off the Mpower. Has anyone experienced this problem? And what did you do to fix it?
James

I would recommend converting older Routes and User POIs as it is a
straight forward process. Sendero really has done an excellent job with
this release. Everything from the program to the documentation to the
conversion utilities are easy to understand and use. Way to go Sendero!

I don't hve too many user pois or routes so could just recreate them, but
just wondered about it. Will have to see when i get it.

I am not sure if there is am option to get a card loaded with all of the
Maps, POIs and the product for 5.0.

I think that depending on the number of User POIs then it may or may not
be worth converting the older User POIs. But, the process is really
straight forward.

I am sure if anyone needfs help going to 5.0 that this is the place to
come.

Thanks,

Kevin

If we just want to get a new card loaded with v5 already, can we just
order
it that way with out the cost being more than the 149 if you don't have
an
SMA? Is it easier to just create new user pois than converting them r is
that a pretty easy process?

Hello all,
Just a few things to keep I mind when upgrading from 4.x to 5.0.
1. you must remove all of your 4.x maps and pois.
2. your user pois, these are the POIs you create must be converted
from 4.x to 5.0 using a converter that must be ran on a windows based
PC.
3. any routes you create must be ran through a converter to convert
those from 4.x to 5.0 format.

Hope this helps.
