Yes, no question about that. I recently did a pod cast comparing the 2, the 
amount of information nearby explorer gives you automatically compared to the 
seeing eye app is much better. Last night me and a friend of mine walked to a 
park to watch some fireworks, I used nearby explorer for the walk because I 
needed as much information as possible spoken automatically. In order to get 
this from the seeing eye app, I would have constantly had to touch the screen 
to obtain it.
