I think that many of us have positive stories to tell about our use of Sendero's GPS. A few months ago we were in Grand Rapids Michigan, our plane landed about 11:00 at night, and we wanted to eat before we drove to our final destination. We could have driven around for a half hour until we found something that was open and then it might or might not be desirable to us. With the GPS though, I was able to locate a restaurant that we were familiar with and direct us there.

Still, I agree with the current focus of Sendero, I don't think they've compromised much in either regard.

It sure is nice.

I was in SF a few weeks ago when my driver was trying to find a dentist
office in order to pick up another passenger.

There are so many one way streets in downtown SF, that she couldn't figure
out the best places to make the turns.

So I created the route and guided her all the way there. She was quite
impressed and even later told her dispatcher, who was unable to figure out
the best route for her to take.

Andy,

You are absolutely correct. This is why we have added so many vehicular
features in the last couple releases. If you go down the feature by feature
list of the Sendero GPS, you will find that there are about twice as many as
any other accessible product.

Kind of nice to be a blind back or front seat driver.

Item 6 has been added to the review list for the next release.

Item 1 is in review, at the current time most of our efforts will be in
the vision impaired guidance area. Vehicle guidance will take a lower
priority

Items one and six would be my top priorities -- i.e.

1. For vehicle routes there should be an option to select the shortest
route as well as the quickest route just like in other commercial GPS
systems.

6. In the set address dialog, there should be a way of moving back to
the previous prompt just in case you want to change something.
