Sounds like a brilliant idea Patsy, but I believe it would be a total failure,
as Word is a ‘bit of a bugger’ when it comes to handwritten stuff and images of
handwritten stuff, unfortunately.
Word can take images, but the images would still be the same size (or else you
can’t read them) – just pasted into Words + a few extra kilobytes for the
privilege of having it being embedded Word.
The only way is to reduce the size of the image and that mean it’s got less
pixels per inch, so less clear to see with the eye. Some email server providers
very mean – they put a tight sending limit on, if they didn’t people would be
sending each other reams on .pdf. I suppose it would tie up the internet,
however it’s not a problem if we pay for Cloud drives of course. I need to
upload the stuff to my OneDrive and Chris and to the Museum team download them
from there (the stuff I copy for the Herald and Museum takes up an awful lot of
space - over 16gb so far`).

Sorry about that - a workday today. Unfortunately where a number of years are
covered in a single book, the stopping place is somewhat arbitrary in terms of
date (due to the way entries are made by photographers) but wherever the copied
set stops the next set should follow with the succeeding box number. There is
no instance where the box contents is split between pages.
However, it is possible (very😊)that on occasion I miss a page at that juncture,
resulting in a gap in the box numbers. If so please do not hesitate to knock me
down with a wet fish, call me ‘Doris’, and insist on immediate rectification.
