Hi Karen
Thanks for the welcome.
If these are from one of the volumes I still have in my possession, and you let
me know which volume/ year/ week, I can have closer look but often It is no
easier trying to decipher the hand writing on the originals unfortunately. The
closer you get - the less you can discern… mind you, the eyes are not so great
these days.
To me Burton Veale seems correct, though an internet search for Farnham
Councillors reveals nothing but a 1970s Con. councillor called M. Veale. The
‘RR’ is a mystery to me… does it appear as some sort of wedding shorthand
elsewhere? Could it be Reverend R(something) ?
Tony

Morning everyone
Firstly, hello Tony!
Got a few things to pass by you all.

Mary had a wedding and the photographer took a pic of her and the groom. But
what is RR (reception something?)

...and is this Burton Veale? Thanks
I think I've managed to figure out two others things but wonder if you agree.
'B/HIll' I think means Beacon Hill and 'G/wood C/Master' seems to me to be
Grayswood Choir Master' but maybe I'm wrong.
I now have power issues to add to the IT problems so these and the snow means
that I'm not too sure I'll be able to join my watercolour painting lesson on
line. But I'm plugging along with the index transcription until something else
happens! Thank you for your help.
Regards, Karen
