Love the photos!
With regard the next volume for transcribing.
Sam Reavey at the museum is going to put me in direct touch with the volunteer
doing the scanning so hopefully we’ll get a new volume and the missing pages
soon. However it all depends how many volumes he took home from the museum to
scan – the museum is closed and therefore more books aren’t accessible. I know
he had one covering up to 1968 though.
I have a couple more potential transcribers waiting to get started too and I
propose to suggest they join the list and share they’re opinion on the
“indecipherables” while they are waiting.
One piece of surprising good news though is that I learnt today that I can
still access the files in the Herald basement during lockdown so we can
continue to answer researchers’ queries in a reasonable time. Your work on the
index is helping greatly with finding the relevant articles.
That’s all for but hopefully I’ll be able to get some more transcribing to you
shortly.

Happy new year.
Just the two missing pages then I can send the whole of 1951 to 1955 to you
then Rosemary and I are all set for another one - well, we have been ready to
make a start for ages. Now another lockdown is here - for goodness knows how
long - a new book the sooner the better.
Patsy
P.S. Let's hope it's not this long!!!
