Yes, I would also welcome such a feature. Atm. e.g. copying dialogs in apps like pcmanfm are always in front, disturbing the workflow.

No, we didn’t reimplement this (yet?). I don’t deal with floating windows at
all personally. It is rather easy to implement, though, so if you want to give
it a shot…
