how can I move window by specified number of pixels?

I usually use a combination of 20 pixels move + 1 pixel move to move/resize
windows.

by the way, can anyone share me your config of tray program? my trayer
config does not work well with i3.

thanks

Then today I found I3 wm is exactly what I want. Thanks for the author'
great job!
Thanks.

I like the 'resize' mode very much, and I also want to have a 'move'
mode,
in which I can use left/right/up/down keys to move a floating window
around.
But I can not find related document, is there a 'move' command works like
'move up 10' ?
Almost. If you issue the normal move commands on floating windows
(mh, mj, mk, ml), they will move the floating window by 10 px in the given
direction. You can easily build a new mode for that.

dzen2 has no such parameter as "-dock", but this line still does not work
after I remove "-dock". Could some one show me your configuration?
You need the most recent version from subversion to have the -dock option.

My config looks like this:
exec i3status | i3-wsbar -c "dzen2 -dock -fg white -fn
-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--13-120-75-75-C-70-iso8859-1 -ta l -w 1280 -h 17
-x %x"

Best regards,
Michael
