defining dock window type doesn't allow me to specify the geometry/position.
dzen puts itself some 'all workspace' flag and allows to specify
geometry at the same time.
i want everithing (pager,dzen,tray) on one line at the bottom.

Yes you can. Set
window_type dock
in your ~/.stalonetrayrc. This will make stalonetray register
itself as a dock window, and i3 will "position the window above
the workspace bar but below every other client" (from the User's
Guide). The stalonetray window will be visible in every
workspace.
