Will anybody point out a software which can read AUTOCAD Drawings (.dwg
format) in LInux? Like OpenOffice which can read all MS Office format files,
edit them and save them back in .doc or .xls format itself? I would like to
read .dwg drawings , edit them and save them in in .dwg format itself.
See this thread:

Or am i asking for the moon?

I found that QCAD opens the AUTOCAD Files which are saved in .dxf format. But
it only opens, thats all ....... No hatching lines are seen. Dimension lines
are grotesque ..... Dimensions are in miniscule font size........
I am yet to download BRL CAD and use it. Does it offer smooth transition like
Open office offers for MS Word files ( no loss of formatiing, fonts not getting
distortrd etc.,)?
