Hi LUG,
I would like to know is there any open source shell script editor available for
windows os?
You may surprise why I need the editor for Windows, I am using Cygwin tool for
executing unix shell script on windows platform.
vi editor that comes with cygwin is not user friendly.
Also, i wud like to know how the script files can be made as an EXE file? i.e.
code should not be available for reading/editing?
Thanks and Regards,

You have to enable complex script in firefox. The workaround is just
adding "MOZ_ENABLE_PANGO=1" in /etc/mozilla-firefox/mozilla-firefoxrc
(this file may be available in your firefox installation directory
also). This will work if firefox is built with complex script support
but not enabled by default.

i agree with you. to check that whether u r browser is built with
pango support, type about:buildconfig in the address bar and see the
config text. if u find enable-pango, that means your firefox is built
with pango support.
i have the latest build of firefox 2 alpha release (bon echo) with
indic support for linux version.
