[Ilugc] Any opensource dictionary application for linux

I am searching for a opensource desktop dictionary application that can run
in GNU-Linux/Windows without need for internet connection.
Basically i am looking for features like wordweb windows application (

Can somebody point me to such applications. (couldnot find much from google)
If you don't want to run a server, StarDict... More flexible would be
dictd + any client which uses the dict rfc spec... I use the latter
with dictionary-el (Emacs based client). You don't need a net
connection if you run the server on your comp (The dictionary files
are freely available). I switch between using my localhost server when
offline and the one on net when online..
