Summary: can't connect to BSNL broadband for the
last four days.
Lucky you.
I was not able to connect to BSNL for the past 10
days. The telephone line was ok, but, the WAN and
PPPOE port didn't blink at all. Thought it was a
problem with the exchange. I guess its somewhat fixed
now. Been calling 16004241600 daily.
Now I still get :
/usr/sbin/adsl-start: line 194: 3952 Terminated
$CONNECT "$@" > /dev/null 2>&1
---------------------------------------
I too get the same error , but am able to connect and browse sites and
receive mail too.
So I do not bother about adsl-start and adsl-stop. It is like a tap, just
open, have your fill and go!
But this is not the correct procedure, but since my needs are fulfilled, I
am yet to poke around. Will post back after I get some positive results.
