The AuShadha project in association with Kanini is proud to announce the
opportunity for you to take part in AuShadha's development.
AuSdhadha is an up-coming Open Source Electronic Medical Records and
Hospital Management System. Unlike the other EMR/HMS software, AuShadha has
almost solely been developed by doctors for doctors. This makes AuShadha
much better suited for real-world use by doctors since it has been tailored
for them specifically. AuShadha has also been developed with a keen sense
of the best possible front-end usability and it shows when you use the
software.
Currently. the doctors have mostly finished all the needed medical modules.
They need some help with the non-medical modules like Billing, In-Patient
management, Pharmacy, etc,. This call for developers is mainly focused on
those unfinished modules. Developers can directly get involved in creating
or extending the pluggable Python / Django modules for the AuShadha
project. (GNU-GPL Version 3 Licensed). Development mentoring will be
available under the AuShadha project lead and core developer Dr. Easwar or
front end UI lead Dr. Richard and Mr. Kumaran.
An understanding of the Open Source Developmont model and team work along
with knowledge of Python, Django, Git and version control would be really
useful.
I am a novice Python / Django developer. Can you suggest any good
