Two years ago, I was dreaming of brining a Tamil e magazine for Free/Open
source software.
Friends in our list and other lists liked the idea and came forward to
write articles in tamil.
Amachu sponsored web space.
Friends contributed articles.
On Jan 1 2012, First edition of Kaniyam was released at www.kaniyam.com
Since then, every month, friends are writing articles regularly.
We released separate ebooks for MySQL and GNU/Linux too.

We are a small group of volunteers who love Free/open Source Software and
Tamil.
We believe that learning new technologies in Tamil will help the for the
growth of te language and people.
So far we have released 23 editions.
On Jan 1 2014, we enter into 3rd year.
I like to thanks the contributors for their enormous efforts.
Volunteers are spread around Tamil Nadu and some are in abroad too.
Planning to gift them with the books they like.
