Dear all, I am facing an issue in on my project, since i need some
suggestion from you,
I like to thank in advance, first let me explain you, about my issue what am
facing now.
I am Developing an wrapper for the shopping cart. The user may use the
dealers site to get into my Shopping cart portal, Once the reached my
shopping cart it would be opened in the new browser window. Now the user buy
the things in the shopping cart and when he done with their activity in
shopping cart, We update the him with the confirmation message in the
Shopping cart the same message need to be updated in the dealer site which
is the first (parent) window.
Let me explain the same with an example. I am user who uses a local shopping
cart site to buy some items, when i click any one of the product, another
window opens with e-bay.com , so i browser through the product and buy what
ever i wanted, after completing the payment process, I get a confirmation
message regarding the my purchase in ebay.com site, now my let me come to my
problem statement, is that we need to find a way to send this confirmation
message and some other details from the e-bay.com site to dealer site.
How come we could do this, they are two browsers with two different domains,
content of one the domain need to updated on another browser. Could we use
comet for this ???
