Let me hazard a guess at what you want to achive:
1. You want to use computer names using part or full FQDN e.g. ping
yourcomputer.yourdomain.com
2. You want a private set of computer names within your own premises
to appear in your network and not to the outside world.
3. You want to use the computer/domain names from the publicly
available one from all the computers within your network and you want
those names to be stored locally on your DNS server.
4. You want to know how to setup a dns server to address 1,2 and 3
above in a step by step way while understanding why each step has to
be taken and with what alternatives, if any.
