Today, 1st day of the networking seminar was went well. Totally 90
people attended. We started at 9:30AM and finished at 5:30PM. This

I thoroughly enjoyed the two days and I should certainly thank ilugc for
inspiring me to come up with something like this.
It was a great learning experience for me interacting with brilliant
minds and getting to know several hackers and like minded people.
Overall the event was a great success as Mahadevan took excellent care
of food and other logistics. Food was much better than the seminar. :)
Bharathi ably supported with announcements, an intro to lug and various
other logistics.
I had the intention of involving the audience as much as possible and
this I believe made a big difference to the whole show.
Monologues and a rigid structure in such talks as originally conceived
by me do not actually reach the audience and might even cut the wrong
way with some people.
By involving the audience we make it a collaborative effort and this
makes people open up further to what you are saying.
I fervently wish more hackers come forward and share their knowledge. It
was great fun. :)
