[Ilugc] F/OSS implementation in United Institute of Technology, Coimbatore

Dear all,

United Institute of Technology (www.uit.ac.in), started in 2009, affiliated
to Anna University, Coimbatore has been completely using F/OSS
for their internal infrastructure

Asterisk / Trixbox for Voice communication
Zimbra for E-mail / Collaborative messaging
Moodle for Learning Management System (
http://ekluvya.uit.ac.in/moodle/login/index.php)
OpenLDAP for authentication

Apart from the above, LinuXpert Systems have setup a 90 seat FOSS lab for
the department of CSE using Fedora-13 (4500+ packages) and they are
about to do all their practicals in GNU/Linux platform.
