Firstly I must frankly state is that "things are being taken a bit too far".
Niyam's logo is brilliant IMO. If someone is foolish enough to
consider a hand (it is not even actually representing the party symbol
by no means as it varies by way too much) it to be some party stuff
and hence not attend, I would be happy about him not attending.
The statement "Logo is not that important" is another "stupid"
statement. The logo actually goes all along the way in the coming
years if at all this is planned to be a annual event and that becomes
some kind of a Brand for the conf.
I am afraid there is more politics here being created, assumed,
discussed and wasted time upon than what actually might be there.
Another question is Are you looking at only attendance? Then you can
very well go to the beach (Marina) or even better (Besant NagAnd
another view is that the current Logo is no way close to the quality
and meaning of Niyam's logo. May be I am wrong and thats just my POV.
Can someone illustrate what the logo actually means? the stamp, the
seal etc?
ar beach, you get good crowd there too ;-)) and start speaking. You
get loads of attendance!
Looks like the organisers must re think their goals and motives or
make the statement clear as to what exactly they are looking at.
Again I say, Niyam's logo is too good to be trashed!
