I have planned to setup FOSS Lab using Fedora-20 in atleast 20 Institutions
on Education Freedom Day (January 18th, 2014).

I have recently seen

interesting for scientific institutes .
It has some basic packages like gnuplot, xfig, LaTex compilers, numpy,
etc. Maybe it could be modified or I guess you are already doing
something like that .
