[Ilugc] Filesystem abstraction ?

Why do you need that? My filesystem layout is basically something like this
..
i have no problem working with unix filesystem hierarchy. i felt it will be
easier for windows users to migrate to linux without any difficulty if the file
system abstraction is similar to windows.does any distribution provide such
abstraction ?
