To help us plan the logistics appropriately, I would appreciate it if
interested persons confirmed their participation ASAP. I believe
there is going to be a formal ILUG-C `delegation' at the meeting. In
addition, we would especially welcome participation of people from
industry, academia and research who are actively using, developing or
promoting Free Software in their work. This meeting is meant to be a
kind of forum for Govt. to learn about their experiences, to learn about
their needs, and what Govt. can do to fulfil those needs in the long
term. Specifically, the focus will be on the initiatives Govt. can take
to promote Free Software in the education and human resources sectors.
Those who will not be able to attend but who have something to say on
this issue may send me thier notes, so that they can be circulated among the
representatives from the GoI.
More details will be posted on this thread, as and when they become
