another things is that, the GRUB screen as well
as the later sequences

I had this with Gentoo 2004. But, as soon after you
choose a kernel, the log will be displayed full
screen.
I am seeing a blurry and hazy display, when i commented the splashimage
in grub.conf , i can see the text mode better..
and after the kernel loads also there is no change...
are they any arguments we need to pass to kernel?
is there any manual for all possible arguments we can pass to kernel?
