Hi,
It sound's like your LCP packets are going through PPP0
interface , check the routing table . You need to have a
route entry specifying the PPP tunnel endpoint as reachable through
a non PPP0 interface . This is usually taken care of by the script
itself , it may not be happening on your machine .
Hope it helps!

Subject: [Ilugc] Help on Conexant based USB ADSL modem in FC3!
To: ilugc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Message-ID: <E1CWEi1-0004pf-00@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Dear Friends,
Soemtimes back I installed Conexant Chipset based USB ADSL modem delivered
by Airtel (Touchtel) in RedHat 8.0 (2.4.x kernel). I used Olitec driver
for the same. This driver is based on 2.4.x kernel only. It was a
successful attempt and enjoyed browsing.
Now I have installled FC3, which is based on 2.6.x kernel. There is no
Olitec driver available for 2.6.x kernel. So I am trying accessrunner
driver (cxacru) which is available for 2.6.x kernel. Once ppp0 device
created, after some time, I am getting error of "LCP: timeout sending
Config-Requests". I googled on this and tried so many other options
specified there. But no positive signals. Can anybody help me on this?
Details:
-----------
OS: Fedora Core 3
Kernel: 2.6.9.X
Modem: Conexant USB ADSL Modem with VID & PID of 1 & 32 respectively.
ISP: Touchtel (Airtel) which uses PPPoA (ATM) with encapsulation of LLC
(llc-encaps in /etc/ppp/options)
