[Ilugc] Help on wireless configuration ...

I am able to list the accesspoints with iwlist and
have set all the necessary parameters for wirless with
iwconfig.  After this when i try to bring the wireless
interface with ifup, it fails to get an ip address. 

which interface is configured for your wireless card? eth0 / eth1? wlan0?

The message i get in /var/log/messages point to
failure in dhclient. Could some one help me why i am
unable to get a ip address with dhclient.  

Post some slightly fuller error messages
