I think I did not explain correctly.
I am not talking anything related to DRM or Copy protection..
There are few classes of data, which are being carried in the disks, but
must be prevented from being copied.
For instance, Personal photos which I can store on a disk as a memory of
some occassion, which I may show people but, not allow them to copy!
I am asking for the sake of such things only.
I think protecting my privacy is not bad "philosophically".

Leaving the technical aspects aside, this is bad
"philosophically". After all, you are asking, "Is there a way I can
restrict/withhold the 4 point-freedom(as listed out by FSF) using a
free software. Irony :) But can you please tell why you need such a
thing ?

I am not aware of a tool that is fool-proof. If a software can
read a CD(you need to do that for using the CD), then someone can
definitely write software that can read the CD and write it to a
file(or a CD image). Thanks

This is called as DRM (digital rights management) aka content
protection. Open Source is against this philosophy and it is
discouraged. Technically it is possible to encrypt the content and
write it to the DVD - but that will create a lot of problems. But
don't do such things - content must be shared. If you prefer not to
share just hide the disc from others getting access to it.
