the desktop sector.
It is a matter of choice and freedom.
LIC task workers, Maharashtra State Transport Corporation ticketing
PoS use Linux desktops (to name a couple of examples). I personally
know people in the above orgs. who use the Linux desktop and have no
issues with their daily tasks.
A few days ago, I saw the Samsung netbook with MeeGo as the factory
installed OS.
Personally, I choose to use Linux desktop and have been doing so since
early 2000 and will continue to do so.
