My system is having NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 display
driver. I am having
problem in playing tuxracer and some other
games. I downloaded the following driver file from
nvidia site.
NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run
I understand, I need to run the file as root and make
necessary changes in
the
/etc/X11/XF86Config file.
s having nvidia display, what changes I have to make
in the XF86Config-4
for the driver to load properly. Below I have
reproduced relevant section of
my existing XF86Config-4 file.
I would like to know from the Mandrake 10 users, what
changes I have to make
in the XF86Config-4 file?
I read the latest kernel tested successfully was Red
Hat Linux version
2.4.20-19.9 with the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.
Will this work properly
in Mandrake 10 having kernel 2.6.*.*.
Thanks.
