what is your network name(mobile network name)?
Tell me i'll give a full details of how you set the proxy settings.

Thank you for your help.
I already tried the things you said.my APN name is "mizone" and GPRS
is enabled on my phone.
The problem is my phone uses a proxy setting for the connection .
Proxy : 10.0.0.10 and port :9401
But i didn't get any option to set that and and it always fails to
connect. I also did the proxy settings in Firefox.But the main
connection is not established.I have been able to get internet access
on Windows platform but not on Ubuntu.
