Hello everyone,
I am running Kubuntu 11.10 on a Sony Vaio VGN-FW260J and I recently
purchased a new charger for my laptop. Ever since I started using the new
charger, I am unable to use the touchpad with the same ease as before-at
times the response is delayed, at times it acts on it's own(i.e. left click
automatically happens without using the touchpad) and sometimes it becomes
unresponsive. This issue is becoming really annoying now. I tried the fix
suggested in
http://askubuntu.com/questions/70333/touchpad-freezing-on-a-sony-vaio-vpcf22s1e
but
it didn't solve the issue. I do not have an option to disable touchpad
while typing(I find it odd too but it just isn't there). What puzzles me is
that the touchpad works fine when the battery is discharging. Has anyone
else faced a similar issue?
