Dear Satya,
I get a feeling that always such postings tagged as "commercial" or
whatever should be taken offline and replied in private.
No it was done with some purpose in public , companies and individuals come
with commercial tags exactly with the same purpose "advertise" and when
somebody is questioning in public about the $ factor , I don't understand
why people should be hush hush , when there is something commercial , my
idea of asking being curious serves some purposes.
Otherwise you are boring other people.
I don't think so , actually they are interested in knowing what is there at
the end of the tunnel after he has learned all those technologies and $ i
think is a good motivation for learning.
Sorry if I sounded a bit offensive. Did not mean it.
No i did not and will not feel anything and by raising such questions in
public i feel as employers are choosy in getting people on board so as
individuals also have a right to say No , and knowing what i asked for is
an important part of that decision making process , i feel disclosing such
information will keep all party happy
1) people who think its too less they don't apply. so less Resumes for
employers and less interviews and hence saves time and $.
2) people who are learning certain technologies gets the feel like carrot
and starts learning even harder.
3) generally it will set some mark as in what it takes to be get paid hence
better people.
4) overall FOSS ecosystem will grow further.
